Vehicle Bag

I've been stranded by car problems in a very remote area. It was 10 degrees outside, and being 20 years old at the time, I hadn't thought about preparedness. However, I knew that if I left my vehicle to find help, I would be in trouble. I was forced to wait until morning, and as luck would have it, a vehicle came by. I vowed never to let that happen again. I now keep a kit in both of my vehicles, which I modify seasonally. Now that it is summer, my kit includes:

Flashlight & extra batteries
2 Light sticks
2 Emergency blankets
1 Rain poncho
Water purification tabs
Multi tool
Camp knife
Personal medication
First aid kit
5 Emergency drinking water pouches
1 Cube of wet fire tinder
Canteen cup
Esbit stove with fuel tabs
Water proof matches & bic lighter
25 ft of 550 cord
Aluminum foil
Coffee filters
Extra cash
Wash cloth
Whistle
Datrex food bars

All of this is in a small Voodoo Tactical bag that fits under the seat. I hope it never gets used, but I'm not taking any chances.
